Two European Style Helmets and a Crossbow

1) Crossbow, 22" wide x 26" long, with white painted upper deck, fish scale body carving, and red and white thread accents on the prod. Prod loose, otherwise fair. Mechanically untested. 2) Lobster tail helmet, steel construction with a hinged three-bar faceguard. Fair as contemporary, with aging and dents. 3) Cabasset helmet, steel construction with brass rivet escutcheons and traces of a cloth inner lining. Fair, with dents and mild pitting. Attributed to the 15th century.
