Special Ordered 1873 Winchester Semi-Deluxe in .38-40 caliber, 24” octagon barrel, blue and case hardened finish, varnished wood stocks, crescent butt plate, S/N 220399B. This rifle remains in very good plus to near fine condition with 80%-90% original blue going slightly dull and beginning to tone. The edges are sharp and the markings are crisp. There are some very bright areas. The frame shows 40%-60% case colors with some rainbow hues drifting to silver with some brown patina andminimal minor pinprick pitting just starting. The gate and dust cover show considerable and bright blue. The hammer and lever show good case colors. The butt plate shows a little case with silver gray patina. The stock is almost fine with just afew minor marks and imperfections. The action is very tight and the bore is bright. A 7.5 on a 1-10 scale with a great untouched appearance.
