Mauser Model 98 pre-war Sporter bolt action rifle, 8mm caliber, 23” barrel, no visible S/N, blued finish, double set triggers working at time of description, sling swivels, checkered wood stock with bullet trap in bottom of butt stock area.This rifle is in overall good condition showing considerable old blue finish, good to very good bore, crisp action, fair to good wood stock with an old repair at the back of the bolt area of the wrist; also some old loss to the bottom end of the horn butt plate.
