Miguelet lock musket, approximately .66 caliber. The musket is in good overall condition with 52” round barrel. The barrel has taken on a mixture of grey/brown patina with light surface rust noted. The nicely engraved lock is signed at thelower left of the lock plate. The smooth wood stock is beautifully and ornately inlaid with carved bone. The butt plate is also crafted entirely of carved bone. This is a beautiful and desirable miguelet. Est.: $550-$800. (Antique).
