Stevens Falling Block Rifle, .22 L.R. caliber, 19 ¾” round/octagon barrel, wood stocks, S/N J698. This rifle remains in good condition showing majority of its refinished blue remaining and going to a brown patina on the barrel. The barrelhas been cut down and the front sight has been moved. The stocks remain in good condition with dings and scratches. The butt plate is marked “Stevens Favorite” and does not fit well. The action is crisp and the bore is fair with somepitting.
