Flintlock musket with “Tower” marked lock plate, approximately .73 caliber. The musket is in good overall condition with a 55”octagon to round barrel. The barrel and action have gone completely to a silver/grey patina with lightsurface rust and pin prick pitting evident. The barrel has three proof marks at the breech including a crown over crossed rifles. The action has proofs on the lock plate including a crown over GR, Tower stamp and an engraved brass trigger guard. The smooth wood stock is in good condition showing use with small mars and compressions. The butt stock ends with a smooth metal butt plate and includes a wood ram rod. Est.: $375-$600. (Antique).
