Turkish Gewehr Model 88/14 bolt action rifle, approximately 8mm cal., serial #6227. The rifle is good overall condition with a 30” barrel with a post front and military style tangent rear sights. The barrel and retain a significantamount of their military blued finish with the remainder going to plum patina. The front ring of the receiver shows numerous proofs including the Turkish crest and dated 1938. The smooth wood military stocks are in good condition with marsand compressions consistent with use. The stock features sling swivels, a cleaning rod and ends with a smooth metal butt plate. A small star cartouche is visible at the rear of the trigger guard.
