Springfield 1898 Krag Bolt Action Rifle, .30-40 Krag, 30” barrel, blue finish, wood stock, metal butt plate, S/N 399788. This rifle remains in good condition showing majority of its muted blue finish remaining along with wear to the edges andsome pinprick pitting. The stock remains in fair condition showing a faint “P” along with dings and scratches throughout from use. There is an interesting plaque on top of the butt plate marked “1790, R.C., 319”.
