This rifle remains in good to very good condition showing majority of its blue finish remaining along with scattered areas of pinprickpitting mostly towards the muzzle. The wood remains in good condition showing dings, mars, and scratches from carry and use. The name Newton is marked on the right side of the frame. The action is good and the bore is very good.
