'Sniper-C' U.S. Military contracted semi-automatic sniper rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield, circa 1945. The rarest M1 Garand sniper configuration. Features an arsenal parkerized refinish, 24" blued barrel marked SA 2-53 with flash hider, winged front sight, adjustable rear aperture sight, Kollmorgen fixed power scope with 1" tube, Griffin & Howe scope mount, receiver stamped SA-52 behind rear sight, bayonet lug, canvas sling, manual safety, Kline leather cheek rest, checkered metal trapdoor buttplate, plain walnut handguard and pistol grip shoulder stock with no visible markings. Scope is in very good condition. Rifle retains 85% finish overall with charging handle showing the majority of the wear. Action is strong, bore is pristine, and wood stocks are near fine.
