Blued, bolt-action single-shot rifle with a 22" barrel, elevation adjustable rear sight, wood stock and steel plate butt plate. Bluing is worn/faded to a grey-brown patina with surface rust and edge wear. Bore is shiny with some roughness and good rifling. Action requires hand cocking of the cocking piece after the bolt is closed and it works well. The wood is worn and has scratches, scrapes, rubs, runs in the finish and a chip missing from the toe of the butt. Butt plate is proud of the butt in places and has been worn to bare metal with surface rust in spots. Condition is fair. *Modern Firearm*
