Lot 349a Metal Desk Ornament of the U.S.S. Grover Cleveland
An original likeness that was originally commissioned as a Maritime transport ship, and was actually the vessel that Nobel Peace Prize Winner, Sigrid Undset, traveled on after fleeing the Nazis and sailed to the U.S.A. This model was presented at a costume ball for WWII refugees in 1947. Excellent vintage condition.
