'Sheriff's Model' Nickel plated double action revolver chambered in .38 Colt, circa 1886. Features a 2.5" acid etched barrel, no ejector rod, blade front sight, v-notched rear sight, long fluted cylinder, steel frame, smooth trigger, checkered hammer spur, large checkered cylinder-pin head, matching serial numbers, and Rampant Colt bird's head checkered hard rubber grips. Revolver retains 90% original nickel finish with few small losses and handling wear. Markings are good including the barrel etching. Action is mechanically sound, bore is very good, and grips are worn smooth. Condition is excellent. ***Antique Firearm***
