Ordnance marked slide action take-down shotgun chambered for 2 3/4" 12 gauge shells, circa 1940. Features a blued finish, 23.5" take-down barrel, extended choke marked XFC, large silver bead front sight, 1/2 tube magazine, grooved wood slide handle, push button safety, smooth trigger, and pistol grip shoulder stock with factory buttplate. Receiver & barrel are stamped with a Flaming Bomb and stock is stamped with a Crossed Cannons & "G.H.D." cartouche. Shotgun retains approximately 80% bright finish, shows light wear, and a small spot of dark oxidation on receiver.
