Blued, parkerized U.S. military bolt-action rifle with a 24" barrel stamped "RA 8-44" with a flaming bomb ordnance proof, leather sling, cloth muzzle cover and "C" style wood stock with trap door buttplate. Metal finish is very good with only some wear on the trigger guard. The bore is shiny with sharp rifling. Action works well. Wood is dark with "1555", "P", "RIA" over "EB" cartouche and "X" near magazine. There are two cross bolts below the receiver, a repaired split to the forward handguard, dings, dents and rubs with a small crack running back from the magazine.
