Pre-War Deluxe Sporterized Springfield Bolt Action Rifle, by Sedgley, #2280, .30-06 cal., 24'' barrel, rust blue finish, machine-turned bolt, fancy checkered pistol-grip cheekpiece walnut stock, checkered '03 NRA Sporter style blue steel buttplate, with Redfield rear and Sedgley's own tall ramp front sight. Top of barrel marked ''R.S. Sedgley Inc. Phila., PA / Manufacturer of Firearms''; left portion of chamber area marked ''Deluxe / Cal. 30'06''. Condition is excellent with some thinning and toning to finish on barrel; approx. 85% blue remains. Stock is excellent with only the slightest marks from handling. Action is crisp, bore is bright.
