Early Browning Auto-5 Grade I Semi-Automatic Shotgun, #56656, 16 ga., 2-9/16'' ch., blue finish, 29-1/2'' barrel with 5/16'' solid matted rib and front silver bead, Full choke, front triggerguard mounted safety. Checkered walnut round knob stock and forend have a semi-gloss finish with a 14-3/8'' length of pull over an FN-Browning black horn buttplate; weight is 7-5/8 Lbs. Ca. 1927. Overall condition is 95% with a bright bore and bolt face. Barrel has scattered light pitting and oxidation, noticeably ahead of the magazine cap; exposed screw heads have blue loss and marring. Wood and buttplate have handling marks with a small chip in the buttplate at toe. Est.: $500-$750. (C&R)
