German Model 71/84 Bolt Action Rifle, by Spandau (1887), #4064, 11mm Mauser, 32'' blue barrel, bright frame and bolt, cartouched European walnut stock, with regimental markings on buttplate tang. Condition is excellent. Barrel and blued components retain approx. 97% blue with minor discoloration to front barrel band. Bright components with only the lightest carbon spotting. Stock is excellent with light marks from handling. Action is crisp, bore is mirror bright. As nice a 71/84 as we have seen. Est.: $800-$1,200. (Antique)
