^Lot 173 U.S. Navy made Early 20th C. Deck Gun

U.S. Navy Machine Shop made Brass & Steel Copy of an Early 20th Century Deck Gun, 15'' stepped steel barrel with working breech and firing mechanism, probably for .38 cal. blanks, with gear traverse and elevation adjustments, brass railings, and walnut base. Condition is excellent with patination to brass surfaces and carbon spotting as very mild corrosion and toning to steel barrel. Extremely well made, just needs a good cleaning. Est.: $600-$800.
