Marlin Model 1897 Lever Action Rifle, #323092, .22 LR cal., 24'' blue octagonal barrel, case hardened frame, walnut stock and forend, with Beech's combination front sight and Marbles tang sight. Mfg'd 1905. Condition is excellent. Blue barrel and magazine tube retain approx. 90% thinning blue. Case hardened frame and lever remain vivid with some wear and silvering at balance point, as well as light speckling to top of frame. Action is crisp, bore is fine. Est.: $800-$1,200. (C&R)
