Colt 3rd Type New Model Pocket Breechloading Revolver, #544, .32 RF cal., 4-1/2'' octagonal barrel, blue and case hardened finish, silver-plated brass backstrap and triggerguard, with one-piece walnut grips. Condition is very good to near fine. Barrel assembly retains approx. 80% thinning original blue; cylinder shows 20% in protected areas with approx. 1/3 of cylinder scene with mild to just moderate corrosion; case hardened frame and hammer with about 35% mostly in the protected areas near loading gate. Brass straps show traces of silver. Grips retain approx. 30% original varnish. Good functioning action and fine bore. All visible matching numbers; wedge is unmarked. Est.: $450-$650. (Antique)
