Leather Dyer cartridge pouch used by Cavalry marked "Rock Island Arsenal" on rear of body, ca late 1870s. Also "W.D.R." inspector marked. Used for mounted service to hold .45-70 cartridges. Condition: This pouch is in overall excellent condition retaining the majority of its sheep wool lining. The leather embossed U.S. is very good. All stitching intact. EST.: $400-$800
