Confederate-style bayonet, approximately 16.25” overall with an 11.5” blade, brass cross guard and pommel with both cast to accept a rifle barrel; wood grip. No visible markings, overall good to very good condition with a light grey patina to blade, some scattered spots of erosion, dark taffy colored patina to brass and very good grip. Civil War era Confederate weaponry is often difficult to nail down without provenance however, this piece appears to have considerable age and a good look. Est.: $750-1,500
