Japanese matchlock rifle, .50 caliber, 26” iron octagon barrel with brass lockplate, hammer and mounts; wood full length stock with a small brass mount missing at the top rear of the butt. This matchlock is in overall good condition showing a heavy dark patina to iron barrel and pleasing taffy colored patina to brass parts. Est.: $500-$1,000.
