Lot 302 SCOPIN’ THE SLOPE
SCOPIN’ THE SLOPE
ORIGINAL RMEF BRONZE
By Jack Muir
Jack Muir is a favorite bronze artist in the RMEF art
family. Born and raised in Great Falls, Montana, his
interest in art began at an early age with a visit to the
C.M. Russell Museum. After receiving a degree in
Fine Art from Montana State University, Jack went on
to co-found Kalispell Art Casting in 1978, now one of
the largest art-casting foundries in the West. Jack’s
sculptures exude both emotion and interest through
his use of design, composition and texture. Now
semi-retired, Jack spends his time between Montana
where he sculpts, and Mexico where he and his wife
Sydney Anne sail their 40’ sailboat, Tambourine
