^Lot 635 Remington-Elliot Single Shot .41 RF SN: 4000

Simplistic "Mississippi" single shot derringer chambered in .41 Rimfire, circa 1867 - 1888. Features a 2.5" barrel, "Remingtons, Ilion, N.Y. Elliot Pat. Aug. 27, 1867" barrel address, bead front sight, ebony colored hard wood grips and an action that consists of only a spur trigger, mainspring and hammer. Finish is in the white with trace amounts of original blue, markings are crisp and wood grips are fantastic. Action need a little work getting the trigger to return and bore shows rifling & pitting.
