^Lot 585 Richardson Flintlock Pistol NVSN

Engraved flintlock pistol with "Richardson" lock and barrel marked "London". Features a 8.5" octagonal brass barrel in .55 caliber smoothbore, silver front sight. fixed rear sight, engraved tang, trigger guard & lock, ram rod with wine corker style extractor, full walnut stock with checked pistol grip and German silver wedge & wrist escutcheons. Brass barrel has scattered light scratches with "London" marked on the top flat, wood is in very good condition with nice checkering. Lock and furniture have a dark patina and action works well. Manufacturer is most likely James Richardson, of Manchester, circa 1793-1830.Condition is very good as antique.
