Rare 'San Francisco Police Department' marked Military & Police blued six shot double action revolver chambered in .41 Magnum. Features a heavy 4" barrel with matte top rib, ramped front sight, square notch rear sight, non-shrouded extractor rod, fluted cylinder, serrated case hardened trigger, case hardened hammer and checked walnut S&W medallion diamond grips. Marked" S.F.P.D." below cylinder release latch on frame. Finish shows a few small blemishes on barrel & cylinder, minor handling wear, high edge wear at muzzle, drag line and wear to cylinder edges by flutes. Grips are in very good condition with the only wear being on the bottom of the right grip. Bore is bright and action is impeccable. Condition is near excellent. ***Modern Firearm***
