Measures 2 ' high. "Momotaro, one of Japan's most noble and semihistorical heroes, was born from within an enormous peach floating down a stream. Momotaro or "Peach Boy" went on to fight evil oni and face many adventures."-(from Wikipedia). Intricately carved with artist's signature in red block on the bottom of figure. A netsuke is a small toggle, often in the form of a carved ivory or wood figure, used to secure a purse or container suspended on a cord from the sash of a kimono. Can only be sold in the state of Arizona by law and commerce, cannot be shipped.
