Colt Burgess Lever Action Rifle, #4207, .44-40 cal., 26'' octagonal barrel, blue finish, walnut stock. Mfg'd 1884. Condition is very good retaining approx. 75%-80% thinning and toning blue to barrel and mag tube. Receiver with approx. 40%-45% thinning finish. Walnut stock and forend show moderate scuffs and scratches; forend with several fissures to right side. Action is crisp, bore is very good to fine. Est.: $3,500-$5,000. (Antique)
