Merwin & Hulbert 3rd Model Army Revolver, #18008, .44-40 cal., 7'' barrel, nickel finish, factory checkered hard rubber grips, with note attached stating that this and another revolver were used at the Dakota Territory Prison in Sioux Falls, SD, and was at one time in the possession of the former assistant warden and last armorer at the prison, Bernard Plymate. Condition is fine retaining approx. 87%-90% thinning and lightly spotting nickel. Grips with mild flattening. Crisp action, fine bore. Est.: $3,500-$5,000. (Antique)
