Springfield Model 1870 Rolling Block U.S. Navy Rifle, NVSN, .50 CF cal., 32-5/8'' barrel, upper tang marked with Remington's patent dates, anchor motif over chamber of barrel, left side of barrel near breech marked ''P/H.B.R.'', smooth walnut stock and full-length handguard, with cleaning rod and steel buttplate marked U.S. Right side butt portion of stock marked ''EAVES''. Condition is very good to near fine. Barrel retains approx. 60% blue toning brown. Frame with 65%-70% streaky blue finish. Stock with bruises, scuffs and very minor losses along top edges of handguard. Action is crisp, bore is bright. Est.: $1,200-$1,800. (Antique)
