European Percussion Short Rifle, by F. Lasper (Lippstadt), .50 cal., 22-3/4'' octagonal barrel, originally finished in the white, checkered European walnut stock, double set trigger, and large steel scroll triggerguard. Original ramrod is retained. Condition is very good. Metal surfaces show moderate general carbon spotting, but with clear barrel address. Stock with light general pressure dings and scuffs, but very nice grain and mild flattening to checks. Action is good, working set triggers, bore is very good. Est.: $600-$800. (Antique)
