Japanese Arisaka Type 44 Bolt Action Carbine, by Tokyo Arsenal, #20948, 6.5mm, 19-1/2'' barrel, blue finish, Asian hardwood stock. Condition is good retaining approx. 85% blue, much of which should clean. Mum, although not defaced, is overstamped with a Kokura marking. Receiver is lightly scratched in two places with previous owner's first initial and last name. Bayonet lug and folding bayonet have been removed. Mismatch bolt, good action, dark bore.
