Two-Piece Brown Leather Rifle Scabbard, by A.H. Hardy, (Beverly Hills, Ca.), purportedly given to Gary Cooper while filming ''The Hanging Tree'' in 1959. Top half stamped ''Coop'' (later marked ''RDK'' to backside). Scabbard will fit a rifle measuring approx. 42'' overall. Condition is very good with minor verdigris near copper rivets. Top strap with minor separation; all others are tight and complete. Shows an overall nicely seasoned look. Est.: $300-$500.
