^Lot 1120 Remington New Model Army Cart. Conv. Revolver

Remington New Model Army Cartridge Conversion Revolver, #86620, .44 CF cal., 8'' barrel, originally with blue finish, later replacement grips. Condition is fair. Conversion does not appear to be factory. Finish has thinned and toned considerably with some original blue beneath patination in protected areas. Upon close inspection, it appears the mainspring is from a different firearm and is somewhat weak in activating the hammer. Hammerspur has been re-contoured. Est.: $300-$500. (Antique)
