Allen & Thurber Pepperbox Pistol, #260, .31 cal., 4'' barrel group, originally blue and case hardened, with bag-shaped walnut grips. Condition is very good retaining approx. 40% moderately toned blue to barrel assembly; frame has thinned and toned a silvery gray. Grips retain approx. 40% original varnish with some losses to right side escutcheon. Good action, fair bores. Est.: $200-$400. (Antique)
