Allen & Wheelock Drop-Breech Single Shot Rifle, NVSN, .38 RF cal., 24'' part-round barrel, blue finish, walnut stock and forend. Condition is good to very good. Barrel assembly retains approx. 80% thinning blue, which may have been re-colored at one point as address markings are faint and there is some pitting beneath the blue. Frame retains approx. 20% blue with the balance having toned a silvery brown. Both stock and forend with small fractures; forend with two parallel fissures beginning at frame; stock with one small crack emanating at upper tang. Action and bore are good. Est.: $450-$600.
