Superb Custom Built Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Bolt Action Rifle, by Don Chesney, #171806, .25-06 cal., custom made 26'' octagonal barrel, best quality rust bluing, Exhibition Grade finely checkered and carved fleur d'lis English walnut stock, with Fisher grip cap, Ken Howell sling swivel eyelets, triggerguard and magazine floorplate by Sunny Hill. The builder additionally notates that this rifle shoots 100-grain bullets at 3465 fps average. Condition is excellent showing evidence of a once-removed scope, but otherwise as new.
