^Lot 753 Custom Embellished Colt Bisley SA Revolver

Custom Embellished Colt Bisley Single Action Revolver, #284814, .41 Colt cal., 4-3/4'' barrel, engraved in the 19th Century style, finished in French grey, with one gold band at muzzle and two gold bands at rear portion of cylinder; factory checkered hard rubber grips, with customization work done by W.B. Ellis, and so signed just above serial number on frame. Mfg'd 1906. Condition is excellent as modified with metal surfaces being an even medium gray. Grips with just slight flattening. Action and bore are good. Included is a hobbyist crafted walnut box with rosewood handled screwdriver and block for cartridges. Est.: $2,500-$4,000. (C&R/PPT)
