^Lot 1486 Arisaka Type 99 Cal: 7.7mm SN:13809

Japanese military "last ditch" product. Blued bolt-action rifle with a 26" barrel. "Mum" is ground off and there is no Type marking. Bolt and receiver serial numbers match. Metal finish is brown patina with surface rust and pitting. Butt plate is wood. Rear sight is fixed. the stock is in surprisingly good shape with very little damage. Bore is frosty with rifling.
