Japanese military blued bolt-action rifle with a 26" barrel and a web sling. "Mum" is ground off and there is no type marking. This is a "last ditch" product. Bluing is rough faded and worn with surface rust and pitting. Butt plate is made of wood. Wood butt stock is ill-fitting with the joint starting to split. Forend is loose. There is the usual array of dents, etc. Bore is shiny with rifling. Action works well. Condition is fair. *Modern Firearm*
