AN_M8 flare gun made by McInerny Spring and Wire Company and marked "MSWC U.S. Property Pistol Pyrotechnic M-8" in a triangle on the right side. Has lugs on the barrel for locking into firing ports on aircraft. Finish is fading and has some surface rust.
