^Lot 1072 Mauser 71/84 Cal: 11x60R SN:2939

Made at Spandau Arsenal. Blued military bolt-action rifle with a 31-1/4" barrel. Dated 1886. All serial numbers match except the safety. Finish is worn away with rust stains and pitting. Butt plate has what may be unit numbers stamped on the tang. Stock is in overall poor condition with two stamps on the buttstock. Bore is bright and shiny with good rifling. Action works but if trigger is pulled while safety is on the firing pin will fall when the safety is disengaged. Condition is fair. *Modern Firearm^
