^Lot 1012a Springfield Trapdoor 1873 Cal: 45-70 SN: NVSN

US military blued rifle with a 32-1/2" barrel. Metal finish is brown with areas of grey and areas of edge wear, surface rust and pitting. The breech block is battered. The stock is worn with scratches and dents and it appears to have shrunk down from the receiver, lock plate and butt plate. The forward part of the stock looks like a replacement. There is a cleaning rod that may not be correct. The bore is dark with little rifling. Action works well. Condition is poor. *Antique Firearm*
