^Lot 760 E. Remington New Model Conversion Cal: .44 rimfire

SN: 140866 Blued single-action 5-shot revolver with an 8" octagon barrel. A conversion from percussion to cartridge ammunition utilizing the Rollin White patent. Loading lever is a modern replacement. Bluing has turned to a brown patina with dings, surface rust and scratches. Brass trigger guard is not original. Trigger may be new production. Bore is dark with strong rifling, pitting and a ring. Chambers are dark with pitting. Front sight is a later addition. Action works with light trigger. Condition is poor. *Antique Firearm*
