^Lot 744 Whineyville Laidley Carbine Cal: .46 centerfire

SN: 17632 Nickeled saddle-ring rolling-block with a 20-1/2" barrel. Plating has perhaps 40% coverage on barrel and receiver with the exposed metal turning to a pitted brown patina. Buttplate is almost all steel with patina surface. Rear sight is 3-leaf. Wood has chips, dings and scratches. Bore has sharp rifling with spots of corrosion and pitting. Rare and improved action allows opening of the breech on half-cock. It works well. Condition is fair to good. *Antique Firearm*
