Lot 575 Zhong Zheng Shi 98 Mauser Cal: 7.92x57mm SN:AF1379
Chinese made copy of a 98 Mauser blued military rifle with a 24" barrel. Import marked. Bluing has faded to brown patina with edge wear and pin-prick pitting. Stock has Chinese ideograms stamped on it as well as dings, dents, scrapes and abrasions. It is missing a barrel band keeper. Bore is dark with poor rifling. Action works well.
