U.S. military single-shot rifle with a 32-3/4" barrel. Includes integral rod bayonet. Bluing has faded to grey/brown with lots of heavy pitting at muzzle, rear barrel band, first third of the barrel, receiver, trigger guard, buttplate and the lock plate. Stock has a cartouche on the side and a circle behind the trigger guard. Stock has missing chip, dings and scratches. Bore is dark with strong rifling. Action works well.
