^Lot 419 FN 1889 Cal: 7.65x54mm SN: K5139

Blued Belgian military carbine with a 21-3/8" barrel with outer tube. Protective tube covering the barrel has many dents and has gone to brown with some surface rust. Receiver is worn to a grey/silver. Receiver/barrel/buttplate serial number is not matched by the bottom metal number. There is a serial number stamped into the stock but it is illegible after refinish. Stock has dings and dents and scrapes. Bore is frosty with good rifling. Action works well.
